Doom is a classic first-person-shooting (FPS) game released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance (GBA) gaming platform in the year 2001. This game is a prequel to the Doom II game released in 2002. The game lets you play as a demon hunter on a quest to vanquish all demon forces. The game is set up as one continuous episode: all maps can be played back-to-back, retaining all collected inventory items from one episode to the next. The episode selection screen's function serves more of a "level select" function, allowing the player to start from later maps without having to play through earlier maps to reach them if you want to cut to the chase and kill the boss.
