Take over a fighter jet and destroy the pixelated enemies in this old-school vertical shooter video game called River Raid!
River Raid is a classic arcade scrolling shooter video game that was initially released back in 1982. The game is available on multiple old-school retro gaming consoles including the Atari 2600. In this game, the player takes control of a jet and flies over the River of No Return to raid enemy encampments, destroy their forces, and route their supply chain. The game gives points depending on the type of enemy the player shoots out. Shooting down bridges gives a whopping 500 points of score, while destroying tankers only give 30 points.
